You can still get stronger. At any age.
I am Dr. Jenna Smith, a physical therapist who has spent fifteen years helping older adults move better, feel steadier, and get back to the things they had quietly given up on. Everything here comes out of that work.

The Forever Able Framework

Daily Mobility Exercises
A short routine you can keep up with. No equipment, no floor work, nothing that takes half your morning.
Arthritis Action Guide
Why movement helps stiff, sore joints instead of wearing them out, and what to do on the days a flare-up hits.

I did not realize how weak some of my muscles were until I started working with you, but then I saw myself get stronger and stronger over the days and weeks. You really kept me motivated.

Hello, I am Jenna
I am Dr. Jenna Smith, PT, DPT, GCS, a Grand Rapids native who has believed in the power of movement for as long as I can remember. After studying at the University of Maryland, earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, and securing a geriatric-specialist credential from the University of Michigan, I spent 15 years helping older adults across hospitals, clinics, and home-health settings.
Then came the turning point. Parked in my car between home-health visits, I realized that perfectly designed exercise plans were not enough. Many clients were still weak, weary, and discouraged. So I dug deeper and saw the pattern: the over-60 athletes and energetic grandparents who thrive pair smart exercise with quality sleep, anti-inflammatory nutrition, stress mastery, and an unshakable “don’t let the old lady in” mindset.
That revelation inspired me to create Vitality At Home, a mobile physical-therapy and wellness practice for adults 55+. Today I blend evidence-based rehab with whole-person coaching so you can trade copays for bucket-list adventures, whether that is hiking Michigan trails, golfing pain-free, or lifting a grandchild with confidence. We cannot stop time, but we can absolutely choose how we age, and I am here to guide you every step of the way.

The supplements I use myself and recommend
When someone decides to try a supplement, I want them using a trusted brand at a useful dose. My dispensary through Thorne carries what I keep in my own cupboard. Third-party tested, and shipped straight to you.
I earn a small commission on dispensary orders. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting anything new.

In Grand Rapids?
I also see clients in person. Vitality at Home brings physical therapy and wellness coaching to adults 55+ in their own homes, across Grand Rapids and the surrounding area.
